Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Aldo Paul successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Tolsson got free with Aldo Paul in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 38 minutes, Erik Spetz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trepca 89's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Spetz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Spetz in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trepca 89's zone, Gunnar Örtlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Ekrot came out of the goal and Gunnar Örtlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gunnar Örtlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Ekrot having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Byström made a kick off. Trepca 89's Anton Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Trepca 89 from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Tolsson in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Paul saved Skillingaryd IFK from getting behind. Gunnar Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Anton Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Trepca 89 booed when Skillingaryd IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Valrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Spetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Spetz scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Paul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Morat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Ekrot having to interfere. Aldo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Melin in the 70th minute of play. After 73 minutes, Erik Tolsson mouthed his way into the referee's book.
