After a rather tough play, Mariannelund's Hjalmar Rolandsson got a free kick in the 8th minute. Börje Biörkquist hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Pavel Jůza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Afghan booed when Mariannelund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mariannelund's Johan Säf got control of the ball when 顾川然 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariannelund's Johan Säf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mariannelund from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Mariannelund's goal looked a bit too open when Kubrat Gazenov came free, but Johan Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, 顾川然 made a precise shot to the right of Johan Säf. Mariannelund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mariannelund's Johan Säf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Mariannelund from getting a goal against them. Johan Säf came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Afghan's 顾川然. But to his dismay, 顾川然 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Johan Säf was a little too slow when Gustav Törnblom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Afghan's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Westerstrand came free, but Bertil Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Säf was a little too slow when 顾川然 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 5-0. 顾川然 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Johan Säf made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Afghan's Kubrat Gazenov got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariannelund's Johan Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾川然 in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Mariannelund's goal looked a bit too open when 顾川然 came free, but Johan Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Malmgren's late challenge caught a Afghan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Malmgren helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes Mariannelund got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Malmgren. Mariannelund's Johan Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 顾川然 in the 64th minute of play. When Afghan's 顾川然 in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mariannelund's goalie prevented a goal. Kubrat Gazenov might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johan Säf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kubrat Gazenov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, 顾川然 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johan Säf was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Johan Säf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Törnblom went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. David Andberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bertil Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Bjursell in the 81st minute of play. Johan Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kubrat Gazenov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kubrat Gazenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Säf having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 顾川然 in the 88th minute of play forced Mariannelund's goalkeeper Johan Säf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Afghan's 顾川然 in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mariannelund's goalie prevented a goal. 顾川然 took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Säf. Johan Säf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Afghan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
