When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Yngve Nordal sped through Mariannelund's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johan Säf. 12 minutes into the match, Mariannelund's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Lundqvist came free, but Johan Säf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yngve Nordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Hjalmar Rolandsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Mariannelund's Johan Säf got control of the ball when Edvard Nyberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johan Säf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvard Nyberg went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Yngve Nordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yngve Nordal got free with Johan Säf in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Elof Westerstrand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariannelund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jojjen Bois the free kick. After 47 played minutes Mariannelund got a freekick which was hit by Elof Westerstrand.

The wind increased when Elof Westerstrand made the kick off in the second half. Mariannelund's Johan Säf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Sävström in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Yngve Nordal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Lundqvist in the 58th minute of play forced Mariannelund's goalkeeper Johan Säf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Yngve Nordal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johan Säf. Mariannelund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yngve Nordal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Johan Säf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yngve Nordal's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Johan Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvard Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johan Säf came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jojjen Bois's Yngve Nordal. But to his dismay, Yngve Nordal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Yngve Nordal put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Johan Säf. In the 79th match minute, Jojjen Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Boberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Yngve Nordal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Säf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mariannelund getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Börje Biörkquist hit a great ball. Johan Säf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Nordal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
