In the 7th minute, Josef Kaxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hyllinge IP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Josef Kaxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Viggo Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Samuelsson in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Bröt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Axelsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Hyllinge IP's players had a chance to rest. Björn Axelsson made a great header on Hyllinge IP's corner, it was just that BK Bröt's Viggo Benet managed to reach the ball for a save. 19 minutes into the match, Hyllinge IP's Gösta Klack sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viggo Benet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Kaxe helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Hyllinge IP got a freekick which was hit by Josef Kaxe. In the 34th minute Olof Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viggo Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Kaxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, BK Bröt's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Kaxe came free, but Viggo Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Hyllinge IP got a corner. BK Bröt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Björn Axelsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Börje Willig tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Viggo Benet. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Olof Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Josef Kaxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hyllinge IP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alf Hjelm was the one to do the kick off. Ted Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Asplund in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Hyllinge IP's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Linberg came free, but Ted Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Viggo Benet made a huge save. In the 62nd minute of the match, Olof Samuelsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Viggo Benet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th minute Alf Hjelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Josef Kaxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viggo Benet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josef Kaxe's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Olof Samuelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyllinge IP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Samuelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olof Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viggo Benet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Kaxe in the 81st minute. Josef Kaxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Benet having to interfere. Jan-Olof Björck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Benet having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hyllinge IP's Olof Samuelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Viggo Benet. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play. Olof Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Viggo Benet made a huge save. If Olof Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
