In the 7th minute, Afghan's Jonny Bjursell dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Jonny Bjursell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Afghan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wargöns IK the free kick. After 11 played minutes Afghan got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Bjursell. 16 minutes into the game, 顾川然 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Yngve Blixt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Georg Vollander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Sefastsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Axelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Yngve Blixt made a huge save. In the 27th match minute, Afghan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ove Rydelius to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Afghan's Kubrat Gazenov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yngve Blixt. Yngve Blixt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 顾川然 scored 4-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yngve Blixt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wiktor Sefastsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Lindberg having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 顾川然 made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Kubrat Gazenov made a precise shot to the right of Yngve Blixt. Wargöns IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Markus Brenner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bertil Lindberg made a huge save. If 顾川然 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 顾川然 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Yngve Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afghan's Bertil Lindberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Afghan from getting a goal against them. Yngve Blixt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 顾川然 went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Afghan's Kubrat Gazenov got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Afghan's zone, Markus Brenner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Lindberg came out of the goal and Markus Brenner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Afghan defense, Markus Brenner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bertil Lindberg. The Afghan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertil Lindberg should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Afghan fully deserved thier win.
