The crowd rose to their feet as Sven Eckegren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ingvar Albom. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. A collision led to Jojjen Bois getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Henrik Lundqvist hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Göteborgs Äldre's Carl Björnberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Lundkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jojjen Bois's attentive Björn Lundberg managed to snatch the ball when Rickard Jansson made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Jojjen Bois's Henrik Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Yngve Nordal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ingvar Albom, 2-1. Jojjen Bois's Yngve Nordal got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Nyberg in the 29th minute of play forced Göteborgs Äldre's goalkeeper Ingvar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Göteborgs Äldre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Albom should have stopped the shot. Göteborgs Äldre's Ingvar Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Nyberg in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Göteborgs Äldre's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Nyberg came free, but Ingvar Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jojjen Bois's Sven Eckegren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yngve Nordal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Göteborgs Äldre's zone, Yngve Nordal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Albom came out of the goal and Yngve Nordal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute Edvard Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Albom came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Jojjen Bois's Edvard Nyberg. But to his dismay, Edvard Nyberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Henrik Lundqvist scored 6-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Eckegren in the 67th minute of play forced Göteborgs Äldre's goalkeeper Ingvar Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Jansson made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carl Björnberg immediately put the ball in play. Yngve Nordal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Lundkvist having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Jojjen Bois's Edvard Nyberg made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ingvar Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Edvard Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jojjen Bois booed when Göteborgs Äldre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Åhman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Håkansson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-2 in the 90th playminute. In the 93rd match minute, Jojjen Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Åhman got free with Ove Lundkvist in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jojjen Bois walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
