Martin Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 minutes, Helge Majman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmvägen Boys and the Sörberge BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nils-Emil Nyström ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Malmvägen Boys booed when Sörberge BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Winström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnny Eriksson made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Melker Källberg sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Emil Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joacim Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sörberge BK's goalkeeper Martin Sellberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Smedfeldt got free with Martin Sellberg in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melker Källberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Nils-Erik Högström made a precise shot to the right of Johnny Eriksson. Malmvägen Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
