After 3 minutes, Rickard Norberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmvägen Boys and the Hakkapeliitta Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rickard Norberg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Högström got free with Johnny Eriksson in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute Kasper Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Joacim Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malmvägen Boys's Joacim Karlsson got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Malmvägen Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Hedman came free, but Johnny Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malmvägen Boys's Joacim Karlsson got a free kick in the 14th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Hedman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilhelm Högström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Eriksson having to interfere. Johnny Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Sandberg in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Kasper Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Joacim Karlsson's late challenge caught a Hakkapeliitta Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joacim Karlsson helped the player get up and apologised. Carl Utter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Hakkapeliitta Academy's Maximilian Jönsätt got a free kick in the 89th minute. Johnny Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Högström in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Hedman in the 97th minute of play forced Malmvägen Boys's goalkeeper Johnny Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Malmvägen Boys had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
