The wind increased when Sven-Olof Ahlroth made the kick off in the second half. Gösta Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Mellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Esbjörn Wallengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenska Krigare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esbjörn Wallengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Svenska Krigare's zone, Birger Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Wallengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Gösta Forsberg made a huge save. Sven-Olof Ahlroth took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Apelkvist. Jens Apelkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Sven-Olof Ahlroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Gösta Forsberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Johan Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Allan Mellberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gösta Forsberg. Allan Mellberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Vegetarianerna United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Svenska Krigare:s goal. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Svenska Krigare's Alf Bergström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gösta Forsberg. The Vegetarianerna United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Svenska Krigare's performance. The match ended with a win for Svenska Krigare.
