Harry Groth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmund Westerberg. Skeppshult's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Sjuntorp getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Michael Stigsson hit a great ball. Ingvar Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Westerberg having to interfere. Malte Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Karl-Erik Fanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Öman charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Öman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Göran Adelsköld sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sjuntorp's Karl-Erik Fanström didn't even have to move. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Emil Martinsson got free with Karl-Erik Fanström in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sjuntorp getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Frank Karlsson hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Skeppshult's Malte Löfgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Erik Fanström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Frank Karlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjuntorp and the Skeppshult players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sjuntorp getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Carl Kellberg hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Göran Adelsköld shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Erik Fanström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carl Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Malte Löfgren came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Skeppshult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malte Löfgren couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Ingvar Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skeppshult's Malte Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The wind increased when Ingvar Erserman made the kick off in the second half. If Malte Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sjuntorp booed when Skeppshult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malte Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skeppshult's Malte Löfgren got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils-Emil Martinsson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Karl-Erik Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skeppshult. Karl-Erik Fanström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Löfgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Karl-Erik Fanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Erserman in the 69th minute of play forced Skeppshult's goalkeeper Edmund Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Sjuntorp defense, Nils-Emil Martinsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Erik Fanström. The Sjuntorp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Erik Fanström should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Nils-Emil Martinsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Sjuntorp's Karl-Erik Fanström. Karl-Erik Fanström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michael Stigsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Westerberg having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Ingvar Erserman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Stigsson got free with Edmund Westerberg in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Stigssons short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Edmund Westerberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 96 minutes into the game, one of Skeppshult:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
