In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sjuntorp's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Fanström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Erik Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Kjellbom in the 8th minute of the match. Conny Kling might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Erik Fanström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conny Kling ran back to his position shaking his head. Rydboholm's Erland Kjellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Conny Kling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sjuntorp's Karl-Erik Fanström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sjuntorp's Michael Stigsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Ahlström. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Kling in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Fanström saved Sjuntorp from getting behind. When Rydboholm's Conny Kling in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sjuntorp's goalie prevented a goal. Conny Kling struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Karl-Erik Fanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rydboholm. After 26 played minutes Sjuntorp got a freekick which was hit by Carl Kellberg. After having played for 28 minutes, Erland Kjellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydboholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Kjellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Erik Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Kling in the 29th minute of the match. With his leg Jonas Ahlström managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Sjuntorp's Michael Stigsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Karl-Erik Fanström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Kling's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Carl Kellberg hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Fanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Kjellbom in the 42nd minute of play. Rydboholm's Jonas Ahlström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Rydboholm from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Conny Kling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rydboholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Kling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Erik Fanström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Stigsson got free with Jonas Ahlström in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conny Kling was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Rydboholm defense, Ingvar Erserman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Ahlström. The Rydboholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Ahlström should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute of the match Casper Vall sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Ahlström skillfully saved the ball. Edwin Öman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 74 minutes into the match, Ingvar Erserman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rydboholm's Jonas Ahlström. Jonas Ahlström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Conny Kling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Sjuntorp got a freekick which was hit by Carl Kellberg. In the 85th minute Michael Stigsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Stigsson in the 89th minute of play forced Rydboholm's goalkeeper Jonas Ahlström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Stigsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute Ingvar Erserman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Ahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Rydboholm's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rydboholm may have spent more time on the ball, but Sjuntorp were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
