Erland Kjellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Isaksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erland Kjellbom ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Conny Kling put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kjell Isaksson. Conny Kling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kjell Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conny Kling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC Adesant's zone, Erland Kjellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Isaksson came out of the goal and Erland Kjellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Isaksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Kling's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Helge Söderkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Conny Kling left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rydboholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Kling in the 46th minute of play forced FC Adesant's goalkeeper Kjell Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Kjell Isaksson was a little too slow when Fritz Lind got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Simonsson during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
