The audience was convinced that Ragnar Björklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmund Westerberg was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. One of FC Letni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skeppshult:s goal. Harry Simonsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Westerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. If Kent Albom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils-Emil Martinsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Valler having to interfere.
