Jörgen Bergqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Arne Jönsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Vitesharks's Jörgen Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Öberg in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute of the match, Sven-Oskar Linquist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jörgen Bergqvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Sven-Oskar Linquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Bergqvist was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Sven-Oskar Linquist sped through Vitesharks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jörgen Bergqvist. 19 minutes into the game, Olov Hermansson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vitesharks's Folke Västerstrand quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jörgen Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Sigfridsson took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Bergqvist. Jörgen Bergqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With his leg Jörgen Bergqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Real Madrid City's Sven-Oskar Linquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Johannes Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Holger Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Sven-Oskar Linquist put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jörgen Bergqvist. After 40 minutes, Robert Nilsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitesharks and the Real Madrid City players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vitesharks getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Robert Nilsson hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Linquist in the 55th minute of play forced Vitesharks's goalkeeper Jörgen Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 59 in the game by Robert Nilsson from a close distance when the talented Arvin Säv managed to make a qualified save. Real Madrid City's players were relieved. Jörgen Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Linquist in the 65th minute of the match. Jörgen Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid City's Sven-Oskar Linquist. But to his dismay, Sven-Oskar Linquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 71st minute Sven-Oskar Linquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Jönsson in the 73rd minute of the match. Vitesharks's Jörgen Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Linquist in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match Robert Nilsson climbed in front of goal and pressed up 5-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Arvin Säv. 80 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Linquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jörgen Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vitesharks's Jörgen Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Sigfridsson in the 82nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Amauri Nóbrega with Johan Öberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 92 played minutes Vitesharks got a freekick which was hit by Folke Västerstrand. 93 minutes into the match, Real Madrid City's goalkeeper Arvin Säv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Hylander. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vitesharks players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Real Madrid City.
