Nils-Emil Strömberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Anthon Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalmar FFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthon Grönberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Emil Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Erik Felin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Strömberg having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Kalmar FFK's Anthon Grönberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Emil Strömberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kenny Rang charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenny Rang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
