If Ludwig Myr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Karl-Johan Örtlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Sven Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sven Fransson came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gaianimas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Fransson couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Vitesharks's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Mossberg came free, but Jörgen Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernt Mossberg scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörgen Bergqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Gaianimas's Joar Runberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Vitesharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. Jörgen Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the match, Gaianimas's goalkeeper Ulrik Rosin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Nilsson. 42 minutes into the match, Vitesharks's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Mossberg came free, but Jörgen Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Johannes Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitesharks and the Gaianimas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernt Mossberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Većeslav Jelenić in the 47th minute of play forced Vitesharks's goalkeeper Jörgen Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Nilsson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Bernt Mossberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jörgen Bergqvist. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 56th minute, Ludwig Myr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Åke Gustafsson during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Vitesharks got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Gustafsson. 58 minutes into the match, Vitesharks's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Igelström came free, but Jörgen Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaianimas's Bernt Mossberg got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gaianimas's Bernt Mossberg in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jörgen Bergqvist guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Bernt Mossberg had several of the Vitesharks's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Jörgen Bergqvist as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bernt Mossberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Bergqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jörgen Bergqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Mossberg went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. If Bernt Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ludwig Myr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaianimas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludwig Myr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernt Mossbergs short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Jörgen Bergqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bernt Mossberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ludwig Myr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joar Runberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gaianimas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joar Runberg couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Åke Gustafsson made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Nilsson however managed to control. The Vitesharks fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Vitesharks's Robert Nilsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaianimas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
