In the 31st minute, Klas Rudqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anton Valler, passed just outside the right post. In the 32nd minute, Alexander Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Oskar Larsfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ahlin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kalmar FFK the free kick. Emanuel Larsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Valler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
