Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arne Nyqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Svante Termander during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Björkås getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Svante Termander hit a great ball. When Gustaf Ferm came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Barkarby Runners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Ferm couldn't finish the play. Björkås's Charlie Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Björkås from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Barkarby Runners were awarded a corner. Per Ekrot went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Per Ekrot got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Charlie Björklund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute, Kaj Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arne Nyqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Björklund having to interfere. When Einar Almkvist fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barkarby Runners's protests and gave Einar Almkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Einar Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Nils-Åke Bergström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Erik Smedfeldt skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Björkås's zone, Gustaf Ferm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Björklund came out of the goal and Gustaf Ferm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arne Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Björkås's Ivar Molin got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th play minute Arne Nyqvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Charlie Björklund. 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Timmy Sjöberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Charlie Björklund, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After having played for 56 minutes, Arne Nyqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barkarby Runners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Nyqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arne Nyqvist took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charlie Björklund. Charlie Björklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 66th minute Ivar Molin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Smedfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barkarby Runners's Jens-Erik Smedfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Molin in the 66th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Arne Nyqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barkarby Runners and the Björkås players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Björkås booed when Barkarby Runners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Nyqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charlie Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Kaj Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Björklund having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Björkås's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Nyqvist came free, but Charlie Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Nyqvist struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Charlie Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barkarby Runners. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Termander in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Molin in the 90th minute of play forced Barkarby Runners's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Smedfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Termander took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Erik Smedfeldt. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Timmy Sjöberg hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Barkarby Runners walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
