The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hjalmar Lindqvist was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Lakene IFK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Viggo Eskilsson hit a great ball. Man United's Herbert Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Lindqvist in the 58th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Stephansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgar Stephansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Stig-Arne Höijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Thorsberg having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Sten Lundblad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Stephansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The supporters of Man United booed when Lakene IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Stephansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Falk in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Lakene IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Strandberg came free, but Edgar Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
