In the 3rd minute, Arne Nyqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barkarby Runners fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Enegren in the 8th minute of play. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Enegren in the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Barkarby Runners defense, Roger Öberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Erik Smedfeldt. The Barkarby Runners fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Erik Smedfeldt should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Roger Öberg notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barkarby Runners's Jens-Erik Smedfeldt. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Enegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Öberg took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Erik Smedfeldt. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Roger Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Smedfeldt having to interfere. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Enegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Hans Karlsson took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Erik Smedfeldt. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arne Nyqvist to make the kick off. A collision led to Landskrona BoIS getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hans Karlsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Holmgren in the 61st minute of play forced Landskrona BoIS's goalkeeper Sar-Shalom Fish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Kolberg charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Kolberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Kaj Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sar-Shalom Fish was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Barkarby Runners's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Smedfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvid Enegren. In the 83rd minute Arne Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sar-Shalom Fish saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Barkarby Runners got a corner. Landskrona BoIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Ekrot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jens-Erik Smedfeldt made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Arvid Enegren sent off a good shot on target. The Barkarby Runners fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Landskrona BoIS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
