Knäred IF's Rickard Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Flinck in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Knäred IF got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Axelsson. After a rather tough play, Knäred IF's Tommy Månsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Bertil Tunberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 minutes, Vilhelm Axelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Knäred IF and the Ljugarbänken Bollklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 played minutes Knäred IF got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Axelsson. Rickard Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Vase, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kevin Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rickard Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Jonathan Vase quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 35th minute Jonathan Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kevin Brogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rickard Lundström was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Björling in the 47th minute of play forced Knäred IF's goalkeeper Rickard Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stanislaw Iwanowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Tunberg in the 51st minute of play. The corner ended in Vilhelm Axelsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ljugarbänken Bollklubb's Stanislaw Iwanowski did a great save. Rickard Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Forssberg in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Lukas Flinck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rickard Lundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Stanislaw Iwanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Tunberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ljugarbänken Bollklubb's Evert Björling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rickard Lundström. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. Knäred IF's Rickard Lundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Knäred IF from getting a goal against them. Kalle Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Knäred IF's Vilhelm Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivar Stigsson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Sonny Bodin fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knäred IF's protests and gave Sonny Bodin a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the game, Ljugarbänken Bollklubb's Kalle Blomqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rickard Lundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. When the match was over Ljugarbänken Bollklubb could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Knäred IF throughout the match.
