Egon Classon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Egon Classon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Vallgren in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennet Boström to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Bernea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kennet Boström in the 53rd minute. Kennet Boström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Ciprian Bernea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Kennet Boström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Classon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egon Classon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Göransson went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Långasjö IK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gerrard klopp for a fine match.
