Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) After having played for 3 minutes, Erling Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leomaker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erling Grönberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Erling Grönberg fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leomaker's protests and gave Erling Grönberg a yellow card for diving instead. Leomaker's attentive Edward Ahlbom managed to snatch the ball when Jörgen Apelquist made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Syrianska FC's Robert Mårtensson got a free kick in the 16th minute. Erling Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaf Wiklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Agne Linqvist made a huge save. Gustaf Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Syrianska FC defense, Erling Grönberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Soned. The Syrianska FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Soned should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Leomaker's Paul Vase sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Soned narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anders Soned made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Vase in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Anders Soned, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Alf Emander in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Leomaker's Paul Vase. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Edward Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leomaker's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Soned breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Erling Grönberg made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Mårtensson during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erling Grönberg, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 64th minute, Kåre Stensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Paul Vase got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torbjörn Vennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Anders Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Soned stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Alén's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Alf Emander made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rune Sundberg immediately put the ball in play. When Bo Caspersson fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leomaker's protests and gave Bo Caspersson a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Leomaker fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Syrianska FC. Alf Emander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Agne Linqvist. 1-2. 92 minutes into the match, Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Anders Soned had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Åke Söder. After 95 played minutes Leomaker got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Vennersten.
