The audience was convinced that Karl-Magnus Nyberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Olof Heggert was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the game, FC Sonda's August Hellqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Olof Heggert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Mårtensson was the one to do the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Opa FF reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Mårtensson in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaj Kullgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th match minute, Opa FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Walmarsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Opa FF's Peter Walmarsson got a free kick in the 79th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Mariano Feo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jan-Olof Heggert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. The Opa FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Sonda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
