Arne Hernström kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Vilgot Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Gernberg in the 14th minute of play forced Dynamo Råsunda FC's goalkeeper Eric Wassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilgot Gernberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Säfvahöjden's Vilgot Gernberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Dynamo Råsunda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Gernberg came free, but Eric Wassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Dynamo Råsunda FC defense, Aaron Engman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Wassenius. The Dynamo Råsunda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Wassenius should have stopped the shot. Eric Wassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Gernberg in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Dynamo Råsunda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Vall to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dynamo Råsunda FC booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Hugo Holmgren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Råsunda FC's zone, Vilgot Gernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Wassenius came out of the goal and Vilgot Gernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Wassenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Engman's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The Dynamo Råsunda FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Säfvahöjden were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Holmgren to make the kick off. Vilgot Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eric Wassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vilgot Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Wassenius having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Aaron Engman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Vilgot Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Vilgot Gernberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eric Wassenius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Engman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Örtlund charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Örtlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vilgot Gernberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Eric Wassenius when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl Lilja didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Hultman went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Säfvahöjden's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
