Mårten Palmquist charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mårten Palmquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Leomaker getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mårten Palmquist hit a great ball. After 26 minutes, Erling Grönberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leomaker and the Säfvahöjden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Leomaker got a freekick which was hit by Erling Grönberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Engman in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agne Linqvist saved Leomaker from getting behind. Leomaker's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Vilgot Gernberg scored to the left of an out of position Agne Linqvist, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Erling Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karl Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Grönberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Säfvahöjden's Alvin Kullgren got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Alvin Kullgren off the ground. The supporters of Leomaker booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Kullgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Aaron Engman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilgot Gernberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Erling Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Lilja having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Leomaker's zone, Vilgot Gernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agne Linqvist came out of the goal and Vilgot Gernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Aaron Engman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Säfvahöjden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Engman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Håkan Alebeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67thth minute of the game Aaron Engman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leomaker's Agne Linqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Säfvahöjden booed when Leomaker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erling Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vilgot Gernberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agne Linqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Gernberg ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the game, Björn Ambjörnsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Säfvahöjden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leomaker the free kick. The supporters of Leomaker booed when Säfvahöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Grönberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Karl Lilja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leomaker may have spent more time on the ball, but Säfvahöjden were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
