Spectators: 7583 (Terracing: 5689, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 150) Karl-Magnus Nyberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When August Hellqvist came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the FC Sonda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Hellqvist couldn't finish the play. Einar Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Karl Lilja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Einar Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Lilja came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sonda's Karl-Magnus Nyberg. But to his dismay, Karl-Magnus Nyberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. August Hellqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Lilja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Säfvahöjden got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Engman. The audience was convinced that Karl-Magnus Nyberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl Lilja was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After the first half FC Sonda were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Vilgot Gernberg made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Kent Kruse with Karl-Magnus Nyberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Karl Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Magnus Nyberg in the 51st minute. If Einar Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Lilja made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Karl-Magnus Nyberg sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes Säfvahöjden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was August Hellqvist who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to FC Sonda getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kent Kruse hit a great ball. Einar Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Pålsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Sonda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Säfvahöjden the free kick. Kaj Kullgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilgot Gernberg's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. August Hellqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Lilja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Einar Jansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Kent Kruse made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which August Hellqvist however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Hellqvist in the 79th minute of play forced Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper Karl Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Säfvahöjden's Rolf Kinnman got a free kick in the 80th minute. FC Sonda made a substitution. Karl-Ove Hagberg replaced August Hellqvist. In the 82nd match minute, Säfvahöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Kinnman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Magnus Nyberg got free with Karl Lilja in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Säfvahöjden's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Einar Jansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Hagberg during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the match, Karl-Magnus Nyberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl Lilja, 0-4. The Säfvahöjden fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Sonda were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
