An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Benda in the 5th minute of play forced Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Anders Soned to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Martin Benda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Tingelholm kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Martin Benda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Soned saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Benda's late challenge caught a Syrianska FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Benda helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Benda hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ervalla IK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jan-Åke Lundqvist hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Ervalla IK's Jan-Åke Lundqvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan-Åke Lundqvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ervalla IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan-Åke Lundqvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jan-Åke Lundqvist hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Alf Emander came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Syrianska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Emander couldn't finish the play. Ervalla IK's Hjalmar Wenerdahl got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Bence Madaras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ervalla IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Syrianska FC the free kick. Syrianska FC made a substitution. Leo Nordal replaced Alf Emander. A collision led to Ervalla IK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bence Madaras hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bence Madaras was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Syrianska FC's Simon Hallgren was substituted for Ulf Hedkvist. A collision led to Ervalla IK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bence Madaras hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Syrianska FC's zone, Birger Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Soned came out of the goal and Birger Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Birger Martinsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Syrianska FC's Anders Soned. Anders Soned was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Syrianska FC's Simon Hallgren got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Kristoffer Skytt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Soned showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Eskil Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Eskil Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eskil Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Anders Soned tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Berggren got free with Anders Soned in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Sundberg took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Forsman. Kenneth Forsman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 82 played minutes Ervalla IK got a freekick which was hit by Klas Ingesson. Roland Tingelholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kenneth Forsman. Ervalla IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kenneth Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Sundberg in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Ervalla IK's Eskil Berggren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 94th minute, Eskil Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ervalla IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
