After a defensive mix-up in Ervalla IK's zone, Per-Oskar Kuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Forsman came out of the goal and Per-Oskar Kuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristoffer Skytt made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Leomaker's Erling Grönberg. Martin Benda struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Agne Linqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ervalla IK. Leomaker's Edward Ahlbom quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kristoffer Skytt, made in the 32nd minute of the game. When Bence Madaras came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ervalla IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bence Madaras couldn't finish the play. Martin Benda might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agne Linqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Benda ran back to his position shaking his head. Bence Madaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leomaker's Agne Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Benda in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bence Madaras to strike the kick off in the second half. Agne Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Benda, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Jens Gabrielsson made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Leomaker's Samuel Alén. Samuel Alén's late challenge caught a Ervalla IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee showed Birger Martinsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Birger Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Stig-Åke Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leomaker's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Söder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Forsman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ervalla IK's Martin Benda got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Benda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Linqvist having to interfere.
