Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fritsla's Sten Eriksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Lisebergskaninernas IF's Dan Deckberg in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonatan Finsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fritsla. The audience was convinced that Sten Eriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Finsberg was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Bertil Linquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Bäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jonatan Finsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Rune Adelsköld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fritsla and the Lisebergskaninernas IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lisebergskaninernas IF booed when Fritsla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Adelsköld didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fritsla's zone, Henric Dahlkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Bäck came out of the goal and Henric Dahlkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, Lisebergskaninernas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Colin to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Henric Dahlkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lisebergskaninernas IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fritsla the free kick. In the 44th minute, Henric Dahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Linquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Lisebergskaninernas IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henric Dahlkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. If Henric Dahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sten Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henric Dahlkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonatan Finsberg came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Fritsla's Fredrik Holmgren. But to his dismay, Fredrik Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, Fritsla's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Dahlkvist came free, but Allan Bäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Bäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henric Dahlkvist's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Oscar Wikander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fritsla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisebergskaninernas IF the free kick. 88 minutes into the match, Fritsla's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Dahlkvist came free, but Allan Bäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Fredrik Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fritsla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Fritsla supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lisebergskaninernas IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Lisebergskaninernas IF.
