Peder Melberg hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Douglas Landin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Frisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Real Malmö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maltesholms FF were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Frisk was the one to do the kick off. Nils Danielsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carl Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Strand in the 56th minute of the match. Viggo Strand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Norberg having to interfere. André Frisk made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 62ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Douglas Landin would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Nils Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Landin having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match, André Frisk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Douglas Landin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carl Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Kock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Maltesholms FF got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Brask. 79 minutes into the match, Maltesholms FF's Nils Danielsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Landin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viktor Tinglöfs short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Douglas Landin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Frisk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Douglas Landin made a huge save. André Frisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Douglas Landin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Maltesholms FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maltesholms FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
