Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingvar Markusson started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Telin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Östlund saved Hudiksvall from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Peder Nordström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sten Östlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Magnus Telin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Patric Pålsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edsbyn IF's Melker Nordin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joacim Fernström, made in the 31st minute of the game. Sten Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Nordström in the 31st minute of the match. When Patric Pålsson came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Hudiksvall fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patric Pålsson couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Magnus Telin put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sten Östlund. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudiksvall's goalkeeper Sten Östlund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Nordström in the 42nd minute of play forced Hudiksvall's goalkeeper Sten Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peder Nordström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Hudiksvall's goalkeeper Sten Östlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peder Nordström. Arman Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Kellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Edsbyn IF's Magnus Telin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sten Östlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Telin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peder Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, Peder Nordström notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Hudiksvall's Sten Östlund. Sten Östlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edsbyn IF's Jan Lövkvist was substituted for Melker Nordin. The audience was convinced that Magnus Telin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Östlund was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Magnus Telin took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Sten Östlund to make any attempt to save it. Sten Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Telin in the 79th minute of the match. Sten Östlund didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. Magne Bergfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hudiksvall's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Fredrik Aronsson scored to the left of an out of position Sten Östlund, making the score, 0-10. Edsbyn IF played a much better game than Hudiksvall and deserved their victory. The Hudiksvall players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
