Spectators: 7313 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rutger Kock took the kick off in the first half of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Marcus Löfdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Douglas Landin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl Lundberg's late challenge caught a Real Malmö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Lundberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rydaholm IFK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Karl Lundberg hit a great ball. Marcus Löfdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Landin having to interfere. Gunnar Finsberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Real Malmö's Douglas Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Löfdahl in the 22nd minute of play. Marcus Löfdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Real Malmö booed when Rydaholm IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Eriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes Rydaholm IFK got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Ekgren. Real Malmö were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Rydaholm IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bo-Erik Julin took the corner. The corner ended in Bo-Erik Julin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rydaholm IFK's Torbjörn Öberg did a great save. In the 39th minute Marcus Löfdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Marcus Löfdahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rydaholm IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Valdemar Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Rydaholm IFK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdemar Ekgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Malmö's Douglas Landin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Ekgren in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Douglas Landin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valdemar Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Douglas Landin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdemar Ekgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Emil Pilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Marcus Löfdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Douglas Landin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Olof Tunander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torbjörn Öberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Marcus Löfdahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Real Malmö's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Ekgren came free, but Douglas Landin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Valdemar Ekgren put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Douglas Landin. Valdemar Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rydaholm IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
