In the 23rd match minute, Hulesjöns BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Engström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Rudberg in the 28th minute of play forced Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Fred Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Viktor Rudberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ljungdalen's Fred Fredriksson. Fred Fredriksson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Ljungdalen's Melker Deckbergh got a free kick in the 40th minute. Börge Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Wästerberg in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Wiberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Calle Söderström took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Fred Fredriksson to make any attempt to save it. 56 minutes into the game, Calle Söderström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fred Fredriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 played minutes Ljungdalen got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Nordlander. Fred Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Rudberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Fred Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calle Söderström. In the 69th minute Orvar Ståhlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hampus Nordlander in the 74th minute of play. Hampus Nordlander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hulesjöns BK booed when Ljungdalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Bröms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Calle Söderström sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute, Hulesjöns BK's Viktor Rudberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fred Fredriksson. Fred Fredriksson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Emanuel Wallgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Fred Fredriksson made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Rudberg in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Fredriksson saved Ljungdalen from getting behind. Fred Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Wallgren in the 93rd minute of the match. The Ljungdalen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hulesjöns BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Hulesjöns BK.
