Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valdemar Ekgren kicked off to start the match. Egil Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Öberg having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Stockholm Vikings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Ekgren came free, but Fanis Giaourtelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Giaourtelis having to interfere. Fanis Giaourtelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Ekgren in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Henrik Bergdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Henrik Bergdal came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Stockholm Vikings FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Bergdal couldn't finish the play. Stockholm Vikings FC's Egil Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Henrik Bergdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torbjörn Öberg was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Torbjörn Öberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrik Bergdal's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Henrik Bergdal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stockholm Vikings FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fanis Giaourtelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Ekgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 35 minutes, Per Sandström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockholm Vikings FC and the Rydaholm IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Stockholm Vikings FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Sandström to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Jens-Ove Söderberg in the 36th minute really tested Fanis Giaourtelis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Henrik Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Torbjörn Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Rydaholm IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Eriksson came free, but Torbjörn Öberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Stockholm Vikings FC were awarded a corner. Bror Billing went to the cornerflag to take it. Wiktor Alén tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Torbjörn Öberg. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 45th minute. The Rydaholm IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stockholm Vikings FC were winning 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Bergdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Henrik Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxim Herescu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elias Markusson during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Rydaholm IFK got a freekick which was hit by Elias Markusson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Bergdal in the 63rd minute of play forced Rydaholm IFK's goalkeeper Torbjörn Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Egil Eriksson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Torbjörn Öberg, passed just outside the right post. When Karl Lundberg fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rydaholm IFK's protests and gave Karl Lundberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Karl Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Stockholm Vikings FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Löfdahl came free, but Fanis Giaourtelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Egil Eriksson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Torbjörn Öberg, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Rydaholm IFK's Karl Lundberg got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th match minute, Rydaholm IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. Torbjörn Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Eriksson in the 79th minute of play. If Valdemar Ekgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börje Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Torbjörn Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Sebastian Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockholm Vikings FC and the Rydaholm IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Rydaholm IFK's Valdemar Ekgren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Giaourtelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stockholm Vikings FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
