But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Bergdal couldn't finish the play. Stockholm Vikings FC's Egil Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Henrik Bergdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torbjörn Öberg was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Bergdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Henrik Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maxim Herescu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, Rydaholm IFK's Valdemar Ekgren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Giaourtelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stockholm Vikings FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
