Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5718, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peder Nordström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Magnus Telin hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 3 minutes, Peder Nordström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edsbyn IF and the Ljungdalen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peder Nordström hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Ljungdalen's Hampus Nordlander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arman Pettersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Edsbyn IF's Magne Bergfelt got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Gösta Wästerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peder Nordström got free with Fred Fredriksson in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddie Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Lars Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Björnsson got free with Fred Fredriksson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Magnus Telin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd play minute Peder Nordström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fred Fredriksson. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Telin in the 28th minute of play forced Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Fred Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Lars Arenius dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fred Fredriksson, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Edsbyn IF's Matthias Björnsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matthias Björnsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Edsbyn IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matthias Björnsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd match minute, Edsbyn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Björnsson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungdalen's zone, Magne Bergfelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Fredriksson came out of the goal and Magne Bergfelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Edsbyn IF's Fred Fredriksson threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Magnus Telin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Magnus Telin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edsbyn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Telin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magne Bergfelt struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Fred Fredriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edsbyn IF. When Magne Bergfelt came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Edsbyn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magne Bergfelt couldn't finish the play. After 44 played minutes Ljungdalen got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Bröms. Magne Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eddie Wiberg made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Nordström in the 51st minute of play forced Ljungdalen's goalkeeper Fred Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melker Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ljungdalen's zone, Magne Bergfelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Fredriksson came out of the goal and Magne Bergfelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Linus Holmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Fredriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Magnus Telin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fred Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edsbyn IF's Jan Lövkvist was substituted for Melker Nordin. Fred Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Telin in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Magnus Telin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Fredriksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Edsbyn IF made a substitution. Fredrik Aronsson replaced Peder Nordström. 78 minutes into the match, Ljungdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Telin came free, but Fred Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Magnus Telin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Pettersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Wästerberg in the 84th minute. Fred Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magne Bergfelt went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Jan Lövkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Magnus Telin made a precise shot to the right of Fred Fredriksson. Ljungdalen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0.
