Jens-Ola Ivarsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Lenhovda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Vinos Fino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lenhovda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinos Fino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinos Fino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Vinström having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Royal FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Åke Vinström, was totally fooled by Lenhovda's Alf Ekerot, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Martin Klementsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Ostargi having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Royal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Ivarsson came free, but Åke Vinström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Ivarsson in the 40th minute of play forced Royal FC's goalkeeper Åke Vinström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Royal FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Klementsson. In the 44th match minute, Lenhovda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Stig Björkdal struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Åke Vinström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lenhovda. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Vinos Fino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Vinström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jens-Ola Ivarsson made a precise shot to the right of Åke Vinström. Royal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 63rd minute Jens-Ola Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Vinström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Royal FC's zone, Vinos Fino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Vinström came out of the goal and Vinos Fino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Royal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Ivarsson came free, but Åke Vinström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Vinström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ola Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ola Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Royal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinos Fino came free, but Åke Vinström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes, Sune Anselius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal FC and the Lenhovda players grew even worse after the yellow card. The penalty shot was made by Alf Ekerot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Royal FC's Åke Vinström. 4-0. In the 88th match minute, Royal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Eklund to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lenhovda booed when Royal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bror Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Alf Ekerot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Vinström skillfully saved the ball. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal FC's goalkeeper Åke Vinström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lenhovda had played much better football throughout.
