Kalju Kits showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lucio Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skeninge ik's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Patxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Phippard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Patxi scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Phippard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Stjärnhov IF's Nils-Emil Bure got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Skeninge ik's goalkeeper Kalju Kits had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Fanström. With a little luck, Skeninge ik's Kalju Kits got control of the ball when Rickard Fanström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Lucio Patxi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skeninge ik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rickard Fanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Kalju Kits made a huge save. Kalle Alefors hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Skeninge ik's Kalle Krabber broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. John Strömberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. George Phippard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Eskilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Skeninge ik booed when Stjärnhov IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Hammarbäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stjärnhov IF's George Phippard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Lundgren in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Lucio Patxi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skeninge ik and the Stjärnhov IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Skeninge ik got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Patxi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Colin in the 46th minute of play forced Skeninge ik's goalkeeper Kalju Kits to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalju Kits showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Colin in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Olle Eskilsson made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Skeninge ik's George Phippard threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agne Walroth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Skeninge ik's zone, Fredric Colin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kalju Kits came out of the goal and Fredric Colin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Patxi scored 0-4 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Phippard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Skeninge ik's Kalju Kits played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Colin in the 65th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Olle Eskilsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for George Phippard to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Stjärnhov IF's George Phippard got control of the ball when Lucio Patxi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kalju Kits showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Fanström in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Skeninge ik's Olle Eskilsson made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Phippard was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Rickard Fanström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalju Kits was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Skeninge ik's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Colin came free, but Kalju Kits reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Lundgren kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Stjärnhov IF's Isaac Hammarbäck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kalju Kits came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stjärnhov IF reached it. Lucio Patxi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but George Phippard made a huge save.
