Christian Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Franck Tastet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Brun, 1-0. Franck Tastet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Christian Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Ivan Pålsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Franck Tastet took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Christian Brun to make any attempt to save it. Florian Capel hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jan Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Esbjörnsson in the 24th minute of play. Calle Qvalfeldt hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Kent Asserlind's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Lindberg was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Florian Capel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Bengans blöjbebisar got a freekick which was hit by David Ekberg. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kent Asserlind was the one to do the kick off. Alvesta FF's Edwin Ekerot got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent Asserlind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jan Lindberg made a huge save. Bengans blöjbebisar's Michel Ahlqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Brun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Ahlqvist went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Edwin Ekerot came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Alvesta FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Ekerot couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Alvesta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Franck Tastet came free, but Christian Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Pålsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Christian Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Tastet in the 91st minute of the match. When David Ekberg fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bengans blöjbebisar's protests and gave David Ekberg a yellow card for diving instead.
