Läckeby BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bredsidastolpein FF the free kick. In the 4th minute, Sverker Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joacim Grubb kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Daniel Kihlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Nordkvist having to interfere. Daniel Kihlman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Torgny Nordkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urban Holmgren during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Urban Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Bredsidastolpein FF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Kihlman came free, but Torgny Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torgny Nordkvist came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Läckeby BF's Daniel Kihlman. But to his dismay, Daniel Kihlman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dag Lundkvist made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Egil Strömqvist sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes of play, Bredsidastolpein FF's Egil Strömqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dag Lundkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urban Holmgren hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With his leg Dag Lundkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Bredsidastolpein FF's Egil Strömqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute Daniel Kihlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Nordkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egil Strömqvist in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dag Lundkvist saved Läckeby BF from getting behind. Egil Strömqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dag Lundkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Läckeby BF's goalkeeper Dag Lundkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Wallmark. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Egil Strömqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Bredsidastolpein FF's Leo Wallmark got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rudolf Bergvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Läckeby BF's Dag Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Strömqvist in the 57th minute of play. Willian Sarmento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torgny Nordkvist having to make a save. After having played for 61 minutes, Leo Wallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bredsidastolpein FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Wallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertil Kollberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Lundkvist having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Gottfrid Jönsson made a precise shot to the right of Dag Lundkvist. Läckeby BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dag Lundkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Strömqvist in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Rudolf Bergvall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bredsidastolpein FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Bergvall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dag Lundkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 86 minutes, Leo Wallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bredsidastolpein FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Wallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egil Strömqvist in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dag Lundkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Egil Strömqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dag Lundkvist was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
