Linus Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Palos in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Kjellbom saved FC Sacramento from getting behind. Ulf Kjellbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Palos went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Válter Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ulf Kjellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jens-Erik Gulliksson fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sacramento's protests and gave Jens-Erik Gulliksson a yellow card for diving instead. Jens-Erik Gulliksson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Válter Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Kjellbom having to interfere. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Hugo Palos sped through FC Sacramento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulf Kjellbom. When Bara's Hugo Palos in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Sacramento's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Hugo Palos sped through FC Sacramento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulf Kjellbom. The FC Sacramento players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bara were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Stor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Sacramento defense, Hugo Palos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Kjellbom. The FC Sacramento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Kjellbom should have stopped the shot. If Hugo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válter Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, one of FC Sacramento:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Sacramento. The goalkeeper, Ulf Kjellbom, was totally fooled by Bara's Hugo Palos, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ulf Kjellbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Palos in the 70th minute of play. FC Sacramento's Jens-Erik Gulliksson got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Jens-Erik Gulliksson off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Sacramento's Jens-Erik Gulliksson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Hugo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the game, Válter Guimarães recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulf Kjellbom. Válter Guimarães showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-10 when Hugo Palos sped through FC Sacramento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulf Kjellbom. In the 87th minute, Magnus Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Sacramento's Ulf Kjellbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Nord in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute Magnus Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Palos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Kjellbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The Bara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
