Gottfrid Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Karl-Axel Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tim Bengtsson fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Harmånger BK's protests and gave Tim Bengtsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Harmånger BK got a freekick which was hit by Tim Bengtsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, George Snell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harmånger BK's supporters rose to their feet, but George Snell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torgny Nordkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tim Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute, George Snell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torgny Nordkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 17 minutes of play, Bredsidastolpein FF's Egil Strömqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Axel Olsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bredsidastolpein FF's Torgny Nordkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Snell in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Harmånger BK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jarl Fridlund hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Harmånger BK's zone, Bertil Kollberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Olsson came out of the goal and Bertil Kollberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Axel Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Wallmark in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Harmånger BK's zone, Egil Strömqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Axel Olsson came out of the goal and Egil Strömqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolf Bergvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Axel Olsson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Egil Strömqvist sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Leo Wallmark dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Axel Olsson, 2-1. Harmånger BK's Karl-Axel Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Harmånger BK from getting a goal against them. If George Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egil Strömqvist made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Bredsidastolpein FF got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Bergvall. Harmånger BK's George Snell got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urban Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Bredsidastolpein FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Bolander to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Nordkvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jan-Erik Dahlman. After 73 played minutes Harmånger BK got a freekick which was hit by Eskil Andreasson. After a rather tough play, Harmånger BK's Edward Collin got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Bredsidastolpein FF's Bertil Kollberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Axel Olsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egil Strömqvist in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Axel Olsson saved Harmånger BK from getting behind. Harmånger BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
