The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harald Stor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Billinge RK were awarded a corner. Filipe Cabral went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Sacramento's goalie and right to Tommy Vega. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Sacramento's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The Billinge RK fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Billinge RK's Nils-Erik Waller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the FC Sacramento defense, Filipe Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulf Kjellbom. The FC Sacramento fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulf Kjellbom should have stopped the shot. Magnus Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Niclas Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Simon Lindell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niclas Persson made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Magnus Bergqvist sent off a good shot on target. Ulf Kjellbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ulf Kjellbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Billinge RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
