Eddie Söderquist took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Malmgren. Boris Malmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Boris Malmgren came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Ranger's Kacper Pozorski. But to his dismay, Kacper Pozorski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 14 played minutes Minnesbergs IF got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Portov. 15 minutes into the match, Kacper Pozorski notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Minnesbergs IF's Boris Malmgren. Boris Malmgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alejandro Ramírez charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Ramírez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alejandro Ramírez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes IFK Ranger got a freekick which was hit by Mark Pihlberg. Minnesbergs IF's Alejandro Ramírez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomas Vennerlund but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joacim Beck got free with Tomas Vennerlund in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, IFK Ranger's Kacper Pozorski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boris Malmgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Boris Malmgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Söderquist went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Boris Malmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Söderquist took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Malmgren. Boris Malmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The Minnesbergs IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Ranger were winning 0-6.

Minnesbergs IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Kacper Pozorski scored to the left of an out of position Boris Malmgren, making the score, 0-7. Boris Malmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Granberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Söderquist took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Malmgren. Boris Malmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Boris Malmgren was a little too slow when Eddie Söderquist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-9. Karl-Michael Granberg scored 0-11 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boris Malmgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Minnesbergs IF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Per-Erik Ingemarsson hit a great ball. Tomas Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Dalkvist in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Eddie Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Malmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Eddie Söderquist took a quick shot and it went in 0-12 without a chance for Boris Malmgren to make any attempt to save it. Minnesbergs IF's Boris Malmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Söderquist in the 90th minute of play. If Vidar Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Portov's late challenge caught a IFK Ranger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Portov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Minnesbergs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Portov to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over IFK Ranger could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minnesbergs IF throughout the match.
