Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kacper Pozorski took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gustaf Boström charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaf Boström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 minutes FC Giroud's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saleh Saleh who took care of the corner kick. IFK Ranger's Saleh Saleh was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Allan Arenstedt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee gave IFK Ranger a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saleh Saleh, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Giroud's Allan Arenstedt. 2-0. In the 18th minute, Per-Erik Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Saleh Saleh sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Giroud's Allan Arenstedt didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Kacper Pozorski managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Ranger's supporters rose to their feet, but Kacper Pozorski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Arenstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kacper Pozorski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Allan Arenstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saleh Saleh hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Reine Wikander hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. FC Giroud's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kacper Pozorski 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Kacper Pozorski took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Allan Arenstedt to make any attempt to save it. Allan Arenstedt was a little too slow when Gustaf Boström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sigvard Tunström made a kick off. If Saleh Saleh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. IFK Ranger's Kacper Pozorski got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaf Boström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vidar Lustig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, one of FC Giroud:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Giroud. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for IFK Ranger. Saleh Saleh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Allan Arenstedt. 7-0. When Karl-Michael Granberg fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Ranger's protests and gave Karl-Michael Granberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Giroud booed when IFK Ranger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Granberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kacper Pozorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes IFK Ranger got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Granberg. Allan Arenstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaf Boström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vidar Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reine Wikander kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Allan Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidar Lustig, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. IFK Ranger fully deserved thier win.
