In the 9th match minute, Calcio U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Calcio U21's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Tunström came free, but Daniel Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Björkqvist hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Iivo Puistola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Arenstedt was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Hans Björkqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Iivo Puistola made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Daniel Henriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sigvard Tunström went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 44 minutes into the match, FC Giroud's goal looked a bit too open when Per Ahlbeck came free, but Allan Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

FC Giroud's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Per Ahlbeck 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After 56 played minutes Calcio U21 got a freekick which was hit by Pär Vallin. After 62 minutes, Per-Olof Kolberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calcio U21 and the FC Giroud players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Giroud booed when Calcio U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Kolberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Arenstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iivo Puistola went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, FC Giroud's Allan Arenstedt got control of the ball when Iivo Puistola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iivo Puistola kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Zebastian Fernström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Calcio U21's Iver Kyllingstad quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 78 played minutes Calcio U21 got a freekick which was hit by Hans Björkqvist. After a defensive mix-up in FC Giroud's zone, Iivo Puistola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Arenstedt came out of the goal and Iivo Puistola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Iivo Puistola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calcio U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iivo Puistola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute Iivo Puistola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Per Ahlbeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calcio U21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Giroud the free kick. After 95 played minutes Calcio U21 got a freekick which was hit by Per Ahlbeck. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Calcio U21 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
