Håkan Bolin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Jansson's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute, Alvin Hultstrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Åke Sigman made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Marcus Rang sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Järnforsen's zone, Malte Ålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Sigman came out of the goal and Malte Ålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Järnforsen's Nils-Åke Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malte Ålberg in the 21st minute of play. Emanuel Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Malte Ålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svängsta veteranerna if.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Malte Ålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Sigman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Järnforsen's Andreas Pååk got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Ålberg in the 34th minute of play forced Järnforsen's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Svängsta veteranerna if.'s Malte Ålberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils-Åke Sigman. Nils-Åke Sigman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 46 minutes into the match, Järnforsen's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Ålberg came free, but Nils-Åke Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Rang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Sigman having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Malte Ålberg made a kick off. A collision led to Järnforsen getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Arvin Ekelund hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Kjell-Arne Danielsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Järnforsen's Nils-Åke Sigman didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Malte Ålberg in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Sigman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes of play, Järnforsen's Arne Molander made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Bolin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Malte Ålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Ålberg in the 74th minute of play forced Järnforsen's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Åke Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Ålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Järnforsen's Andreas Pååk got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Järnforsen's zone, Marcus Rang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After having played for 85 minutes, Marcus Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svängsta veteranerna if.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Rang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Malte Ålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Järnforsen defense, Malte Ålberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Åke Sigman. The Järnforsen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Åke Sigman should have stopped the shot. Nils-Åke Sigman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Ålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Åke Sigman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Rang's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Marcus Rang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Åke Sigman having to make a save. Malte Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nils-Åke Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
