In the 15th minute Wilhelm Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Staffan Norberg made a kick off. Simon Söderqwist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Norberg in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 59th minute Wilhelm Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 minutes Kumla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilhelm Hermansson who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kumla's goalie and right to Georg Stål. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kumla's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Kumla's Kurt Ödmann got control of the ball when Ove Kvarnström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ove Kvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Ödmann having to interfere. Wilhelm Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Kurt Ödmann made a huge save. In the 70th minute Wilhelm Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hasselfors IF's Stig-Åke Ahlrot was substituted for Harry Gustafsson. In the 72nd minute, Otto Ahlbeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Dennis Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hasselfors IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Dalman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ove Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Kvarnström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Wilhelm Hermansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Ödmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Ödmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ove Kvarnström in the 91st minute. If Wilhelm Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Hasselfors IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kumla.
