Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Berg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvin Kellman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Fakrej's Johannes Torstensson threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hampus Skröder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Philip Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Torstensson having to interfere. After 25 played minutes We Love Mondays got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Pilgren. A collision led to We Love Mondays getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alf Norberg hit a great ball. Fakrej's Håkan Majman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Johannes Torstensson but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in We Love Mondays's zone, Hampus Skröder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Torstensson came out of the goal and Hampus Skröder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hampus Skröder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to We Love Mondays getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Reine Boberg hit a great ball. When We Love Mondays's Karl-Michael Hammarberg in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fakrej's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Berg in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvin Kellman saved Fakrej from getting behind. When Karl-Michael Hammarberg came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the We Love Mondays fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Hammarberg couldn't finish the play. Karl-Michael Hammarberg struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Alvin Kellman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for We Love Mondays. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Karl-Michael Hammarbergs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Alvin Kellman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Norberg during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf Norberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Hammarberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvin Kellman, 1-1. Nils-Emil Persson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Fakrej's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Berg came free, but Alvin Kellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, We Love Mondays's Karl-Michael Hammarberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvin Kellman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fakrej's goalkeeper Alvin Kellman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philip Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. We Love Mondays's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
