With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conny Ekelund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gagisha IF booed when Dala-Järna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Aleberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algot Lägdin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conny Ekelund having to make a save. 19 minutes into the game, Gagisha IF's Sílvio Luís Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conny Ekelund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Szczepan Kolacki during the 22nd minute. Conny Ekelund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Dala-Järna's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Lägdin came free, but Conny Ekelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gagisha IF's zone, Klas Dusett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haşim Şahruh came out of the goal and Klas Dusett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haşim Şahruh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Söderström in the 40th minute. Tim Sjögren hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The long shot by Klas Dusett in the 42nd minute really tested Haşim Şahruh's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Haşim Şahruh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Klintæus in the 43rd minute of play. Haşim Şahruh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Ekblom in the 45th minute of the match. Fredrik Söderström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Haşim Şahruh made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Algot Lägdin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ludomir Ledochowski hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luís Correia in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Ekelund saved Dala-Järna from getting behind. Dala-Järna's Conny Ekelund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Dala-Järna from getting a goal against them. Conny Ekelund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Correia in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Vilhelm Ekblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algot Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Conny Ekelund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Ekblom's late challenge caught a Gagisha IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Ekblom helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
